This post was meant to go up time ago but better late than never! I met up with label owner DJ Prime who recently just moved to bristol to have a chat with him about the label etc....
It started 6 months ago and in that short time has already had 3 releases from 6 Blocc & K1 and Vista (he produced the intro track on Wiley's new album). Having studied Music and Media Management at University and being a big collector of vinyl he decided he wanted to release it. Biggest tune in the bag at the minute is Dom Hz 'Don't Stop', which is getting played by big boys such as Rusko, Walsh, Starkey, Synkro & Orien. This one's released so cop it quick!
Forthcoming on the label are 2 tracks from Stagga, 1 from Monkey and 1 from Mr. Curtamos which will make the badboy Cardiff EP! Watch out for this one the tunes are BIGGG!
Friend of the blog Wachs Lyrical just had his Inversion EP released on the label and this ones deep!! Not available on Vinyl, but is available in all good online music stores.
This said, he said himself that the Numan 'Secrets EP' (out 12th December) is the biggest forthcoming release and he doesnt lie! He's only 18 coming and he's from Manchester. His production is tight as hell! He's got stuff coming on Starkey's label, Wicky Lindows and he's getting love from musical sorceress Mary Anne Hobbs! Definitely one to watch for 2010!
